What is it about beauty? Everyone searches for it no matter the cost. Men becomes fools over a beautiful face and body, going to the length of the world and back, or launching a thousand ships in warfare as was the case of Helen of Troy. Beauty indeed, must be achieved.
Let's face it: even if people say that it is character and intelligence that matter most, if men were to choose between a dumb, pretty girl and an intelligent, ugly one, most likely men will initially choose the one with the prettier face.
Because of this fascination and preference to strikingly appealing faces and bodies, most women will do anything to conform to society's definition of beauty. They believe that the more appealing they are, the more likely men will choose them to be their brides.
To achieve their goals of having wedding rings on their fingers, women shrewdly add a sense of fashion, the right diet, sensuality and impeccable hair and make-up to their persona.
Some may even resort to surgical and other invasive procedures to achieve that perfect face and body. Many have had "corrections" done on their eyes and nose, lip enhancement, breast augmentation, liposuction, and for older women, treatments such as Botox.
Caution must be thrown to the wind when undergoing such measures, as there have been many instances wherein these procedures have led to swelling, scarring and even death. Despite these possibilities, women still try to achieve perfection especially when they are approaching their wedding day. People should always remember however, that regardless of how magnificent a person is on the outside, it is beauty from within that should truly count.
Still, on the wedding day itself, a luxurious bridal gown and the most solemn ceremony would complete this picture perfect moment.
Preparations, whether internally or externally done, contribute to the success of one's wedding day
